Deanna Johnson

Deanna Johnson (Derry) is a youth development professional with over 10 years of successful experience in Educational Leadership and Youth Development. She received her baccalaureate degree in Theatre Arts from Cheyney University, served as an Americorps member in Los Angeles California, and later obtained a master's degree in Urban Studies- Youth Development from Eastern University. Her true passion in life is supporting young people in socioemotional growth through interactive workshops and intentional conversation. Before working in the City of Philadelphia, she was the Director of a performing arts preschool in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Within her community Deanna spends her free time serving as a board member for Neighborhood First and Freedom Neighborhood One.
